SolidWorks Drafter/Documentation Specialist

Enertechnix is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented candidate to join our operations team. Working closely with our technical and service teams, the SolidWorks Drafter/Documentation Specialist will be responsible for document control (creating and updating parts and installation drawings, manufacturing manuals, and customer manuals) as well as quality control program documentation. Reporting to the company’s Operations Manager, the candidate will develop a comprehensive understanding of Enertechnix equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Creating and updating parts drawings and customer installation drawings
• Taking concepts and sketches from engineers and modeling them in SolidWorks
• Following product drawings, sketches, engineering ideas and verbal instructions
• Creating and updating manufacturing manuals and customer manuals
• Quality control program documentations

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recent SolidWorks 3D drafting experience mandatory, AutoCAD experience a plus
•  2-year technical degree with emphasis in drafting and engineering is a plus
•  Candidates will take a 3D modeling test as part of the interview process
•  Meticulous and detail oriented, extremely precise
•  Experience working with technical documents and manuals a plus
•  Experience in technical environment plus
•  Quality control experience a plus
•  Position based in Olympia, WA. Ideal candidate currently located in Pacific Northwest.
•  This is a full-time position, but candidate has option to start part-time and move to full-time
